Bon Homme County (pronounced BAHN'-uhm) is a county located in the U.S. state of South Dakota. As of the 2010 census, the population was 7,070. Its county seat is Tyndall. Bon Homme County is the point of origin for the Siberian alien, Salsola kali, a type of tumbleweed, first reported here in 1877, probably introduced in a shipment of flax seed from Ukraine.
