Bossiaea vombata
Bossiaea vombata, commonly known as Wombat Bossiaea, is a species of flowering plant in the pea family (Fabaceae). It is endemic to the Wombat State Forest in Victoria, Australia. It has flat, blue-green leafless branches and grows up to 2 metres in height. Flowers appear between November and December in its native range. These are yellow with a red-brown centre. The seed pods are oblong in shape and around 40 mm long. The species was first formally described in 2008.
