The Calder High School is a comprehensive school, with an associated sixth form. It specialises in technology, with nine dedicated technology rooms. Its uniform is currently a mix of Black Blazers with Blue ties (year 7), Blue jumpers (years 8-9), Black Blazers with Black and navy blue ties (year 10) and black jumpers with navy blue and black ties. This mixture of uniform is currently due to the transition to Blazers instead of jumpers, but only the joining year 7 and the new year 10 have to wear Blazers as they would be changing their uniform anyway. It is located in the village of Mytholmroyd, in the metropolitan district of Calderdale, in northern England.
