Conrad Nagel was the host. There were a total of twenty-five episodes adapted from classical literature, including the stories of William Shakespeare, Geofrey Chaucer, Leo Tolstoy, Guy de Maupassant, Prosper Mérimée, and Alexander Pushkin.
