Erpingham

Erpingham is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 2,490 acres (1,010 ha) had a population of 541 in 210 households as of the 2001 Census, and including Ingworth increased to 700 at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of North Norfolk. Erpingham is 4 miles (6.4 km) to the north of Aylsham, and gives its name to the adjoining Hundred, which was held by the family of Sir Thomas Erpingham for many generations.
