Fréttatíminn (Icelandic for: Newstime) is an Icelandic newspaper founded in 2010, with the first edition being published on 1 October that year. The newspaper comes out every Friday, and has a circulation of approximately 82,000. Around 70,000 copies are distributed in the Reykjavík capital area. Fréttatíminn is free of charge. The paper is owned by the journalists who write for it and the paper does not have any affiliation to parties it covers. The editor of the paper is Sigríður Dögg Auðunsdóttir.
