Francis Luttrell (1659–1690)

Francis Luttrell (1659–1690) of Dunster Castle in Somerset was an English politician. He sat in the House of Commons of England from 1679 to 1690 as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Minehead. He was the second son of Francis Luttrell (1628–1666), and older brother of Alexander Luttrell. He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford, and later held many civil and military offices in Somerset. He was a Deputy Lieutenant of Somerset from 1681 to 1687, a Deputy Lieutenant of Dorset from 1685 to 1687, and a Vice-Admiral of Somerset from 1685.
