Frontier (2016 TV series)
Frontier is an upcoming Canadian-American historical drama television series co-created by Brad Peyton, Rob Blackie, and Peter Blackie. Frontier will chronicle the North American fur trade of the 1800s. The series is co-produced by the Canadian Discovery Channel (as the channel's first original scripted commission) and Netflix. The first season will consist of six episodes which will air on the Discovery Channel Canada in Canada in 2016 and Netflix internationally. It will not be available on Netflix in Canada until 2018.
