Giants of Rome

Giants of Rome (Italian: I giganti di Roma) is a 1964 Italian/French international co-production widescreen sword and sandal adventure war film set in the Gallic Wars. It was directed by Antonio Margheriti and starred Richard Harrison and Wandisa Guida. The film's plot resembles The Guns of Navarone of the Roman Empire; a handpicked group of expert soldiers infiltrate the enemy's stronghold to locate and destroy a secret weapon prior to the Battle of Alesia.
