"Goodnight Goodnight" is a ballad by Maroon 5 from their second studio album, It Won't Be Soon Before Long. It is the fifth single from the album and it received some airplay in Brazil and reached the top spot on the Hong Kong singles chart before its official release. It has been released as a promo CD single and as a digital download in the United Kingdom. The intro guitar for the song bears a resemblance to intro for 3 Doors Down's "Kryptonite." A remix version of this song is also found on Call and Response: The Remix Album.
