Humacao Airport

Humacao Airport (IATA: HUC, FAA LID: X63) is a public use airport owned by the Puerto Rico Ports Authority and located one nautical mile (1.85 km) southeast of the central business district of Humacao, a city in Puerto Rico. Because of the new José Aponte de la Torre Airport in Ceiba which opened in November 2008, Humacao Airport and Fajardo Airport are scheduled to shut down operations. However, as of July 2009, Humacao Airport was still listed as an active airport by the Federal Aviation Administration.
