Kate O'Connell
Kate O'Connell (born 3 January 1980) is a Fine Gael politician, and Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin Bay South constituency, elected at the 2016 general election, on her first attempt. O'Connell was a member of Dublin City Council from 2014 to 2016. She is also a chemist, and she and her husband Morgan run a late-night pharmacy in Rathgar. She attracted media attention after she published an article on the repeal of the Eight Amendment in the Irish Independent, entitled 'My own country couldn't facilitate our needs when we needed it most'.
