The Koli people are historically an ethnic Indian group native to Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana states. In Mumbai, Native Christians include Koli East Indian Catholics, who were converted by the Portuguese during the 16th century.
