The Krausidon, Greek: Κραυσίδων, with a length of 12 km, the longest torrent that runs solely in the interior of Volos. It has its origin in the Pelion Mountains in central Pelion, flowing southwest to Pagasetic Gulf, Greece. The places that the river flows through include Volos, Nea Ionia, Magnesia, Portaria in Greece. Reservoirs on the Krausidon include a dam. There are a number of bridges over the river.
