Les Cinémas Gaumont Pathé is a joint venture between French film production and distribution companies Pathé and Gaumont which was created in 2000. As of 2016, the company owns 1051 screens in cinemas over France, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium. The company sold 64,5 million tickets in 2015 in their 110 cinemas. The company is market leader in each country in which it is active, except Belgium. Until 2010 the company also operated cinemas in Italy, but due to difficulties in the local market they sold their assets. On December 1, 2015, Les Cinémas Gaumont Pathé acquired Cinépointcom.
