Libina

Libina (German: Liebau) is a village and municipality (obec) in Šumperk District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. The municipality covers an area of 27.26 square kilometres (10.53 sq mi), and has a population of 3,465 (as at 3 July 2006). Libina lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) south-east of Šumperk, 35 km (22 mi) north of Olomouc, and 192 km (119 mi) east of Prague. The village is eight km long and is located at the foot of the Jeseníky Mountains. It is divided into three administrative parts: Dolní Libina, Horní Libina and Obědné.
