M10 (political party)

M10 (M at the power of 10) is a right-wing political party in Romania. It was founded by former Justice Minister and anti-corruption activist Monica Macovei, and registered on 3 June 2015. At a press conference on 1 March 2015, Monica Macovei described her party as "the only veritable right-wing party in Romania", striving for a minimal state with a small government, a small parliament and with "as few interventions in our lives as possible". She added: "We want capitalism, we want economic freedom." Former People's Movement leader Adrian Papahagi called for "creating the anti-system party" to quench their outrage.
