Martin J. Platz was a Canadian football player who played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He won the Grey Cup with them in 1939. He was the son of Leo Platz, and had a brother, Paul. He served in World War II with the Royal Canadian Air Force. In August 1941, he was reported as being held as a prisoner of war, having been missing since July 7, 1941. In 1947, he was living in Hamilton, Ontario.
