Mary Shelley, the English writer best known for her Gothic novel Frankenstein: or, The Modern Prometheus, has been featured in the fictional universe of the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who on a number of occasions, most prominently as a character voiced by Julie Cox in a series of audio plays produced by Big Finish Productions based on the series.
