Calcutta, and directed by Hemchander Chunder, it starred K. L. Saigal, Sumitra Devi, Akhtar Jehan, Chandrabati Devi, Nawab and Tulsi Chakraborty. The music direction was by Pankaj Mullick with lyrics by Pandit Bhushan.
