Mortal Kombat Trilogy is a fighting video game released by Midway in 1996 as an update to Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Unlike the previous title, it was not released in arcades (except for prototypes), but was instead released for the PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Sega Saturn and PCs. Further versions were also released for the Game.com and R-Zone. The game was met with mixed reviews. The hardest criticism was directed at the Nintendo 64 version, which did not have all the content of the other versions due to limited storage space on the cartridge.
