Nadterechny District

Nadterechny District (Russian: Надте́речный райо́н; Chechen: Терк-Йистанан кӏошт) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifteen in the Chechen Republic, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the republic. Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Znamenskoye. Population: 55,782 (2010 Census); 51,755 (2002 Census); 35,742 (1989 Census). The population of Znamenskoye accounts for 18.4% of the district's total population.
