North! Or Be Eaten is a fantasy novel by Christian singer/songwriter Andrew Peterson. It is the second novel in The Wingfeather Saga. It received a Christy Award in 2009. The plot follows the continuing adventures and misadventures of the Igiby children Janner, Leeli, and Tink, their mother Nia, piratical grandfather Podo, and their disturbed ally Peet the Sock-man as they flee from the menace of the Fangs of Dang towards the Northern Ice Prairie after the incidents of the last book, 'On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness, drove them from their home. They have each other, at least, but the world is a dangerous place for a family on the run - and there are so many secrets to be discovered which could still affect their fate.
