Palembang Water Tower
The Palembang Water Tower, now Kantor Ledeng (mayor's office) is a historic building in Palembang, Sumatra, Indonesia. Built as a water tower with an office on the ground flower by the Dutch, the building was used by Imperial Japan as the governor's (resident) office. It became city hall in 1956 after Indonesia's independence and the mayor's office in 1963. It was built in 1929 according to a design by Ir. S. Snuijf and built in 1930. It is 250 meters tall.
