Providence Care is one of the three university hospitals in Kingston, Ontario affiliated with Queen's University. Providence Care is a not-for-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and sponsored by the Catholic Health Corporation of Ontario. Providence Care specializes in rehabilitation, geriatric care, complex continuing care, specialized mental health care, palliative care, and long-term care. Being affiliated with Queen's University, it is a major centre for teaching and research.
