Safety (EP)

Safety was the first public release by the British rock band Coldplay. It was recorded over a weekend during May 1998, and was intended as a demo for record companies. It was financed by the band and their manager Phil Harvey for around £1500. The songs on this EP have all appeared unaltered on subsequent releases by Coldplay. "Bigger Stronger" and "Such a Rush" are featured on The Blue Room EP and "No More Keeping My Feet on the Ground" was a B-side on the single release of "Yellow". The cover photo of lead singer Chris Martin was taken by John Hilton, a friend of the band.
