Spyro: Shadow Legacy (known during development as Spyro: Action & RPG Light) is the fifth handheld game and sixth installment in the original Spyro the Dragon series of video games. It is designed for the Nintendo DS and takes place after Spyro: A Hero's Tail. It is the final game in the original continuity; as the games released afterward, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, and its subsequent sequels; serve as a reboot of the series.
