Video Archives was a video rental store located in Manhattan Beach, California and later moved to Hermosa Beach, California, owned and managed by Lance Lawson and Dennis Humbert. Director Quentin Tarantino worked there along with documentary filmmaker Daniel Snyder and Roger Avary, the writer, director, and producer with whom Tarantino shared an Academy Award for the Pulp Fiction screenplay. The store was also frequented by screenwriters Josh Olson (A History of Violence), Jeff Maguire (In the Line of Fire), John Langley (the creator of COPS), and Danny Strong (The Butler, Recount).
