New Water Sustainability act in British Columbia has received great response on May 29, 2014, after four years of public participation. In 2016 a new act will be implemented.Water Sustainability Act will provide expanded tools to help that water will remain clear and secure for our upcoming generations of British Columbians. This implication will let the government to have a control over groundwater and also the surface water as a single reserve, give water consumers with higher certainty about their rights of water, making transparent rules and controlling water during its shortage.
