Westfalenstadion (German pronunciation: [vɛstˈfaːlnˌʃtaːdi̯ɔn] ) is an association football stadium in Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is the home stadium of the Borussia Dortmund football team playing in the German Bundesliga. The stadium is officially named Signal Iduna Park [zɪɡˌnaːl ʔiˈduːnaː ˌpaʁk] under a sponsorship arrangement lasting from December 2005 until 2021, giving naming rights to the Signal Iduna Group, an insurance company. The older name Westfalenstadion derives from the former Prussian province of Westphalia, which is part of the German federal state North Rhine-Westphalia.
