Bulgarian language

Bulgarian /bʌlˈɡɛəriən/, /bʊlˈ-/ (български, tr. bǎlgarski, pronounced [ˈbɤɫɡɐrski ɛˈzik]) is an Indo-European language, a member of the Southern branch of the Slavic language family. It is the language of the Bulgarians. With the accession of Bulgaria to the European Union on 1 January 2007, Bulgarian became one of the official languages of the European Union.
