Radio Yorkshire is a radio station for Yorkshire. Radio Yorkshire is based above Subway across the road from Leeds United's Elland Road football stadium. The station began broadcasting in March 2014. The station was set up by former Leeds chairman Ken Bates, following the closure of the similarly named Yorkshire Radio he had set up while at Leeds United. The station plays music from the 1960s to the present day.
