Alexander Benjamin Katz (October 12, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Chicago White Sox organization. Katz was born in Manhasset, New York. He pitched for the St. John's Red Storm. Katz was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 27th round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft. In 2015, at the age of 20, he pitched for the Great Falls Voyagers of the Rookie Pioneer League, and for the Arizona League White Sox of the Rookie Arizona League. He was a combined 0-2 with a 2.20 ERA and 4 saves, as in 32.2 innings he struck out 40 batters.
