Anea Wauneegunn Garcia (born November 21, 1994) is an American–Dominican model and beauty queen. She represented Rhode Island in the 2015 Miss USA pageant where she placed 2nd runner up. She later represented the Dominican Republic at the Miss Grand International 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand and won the first crown for Dominican Republic. But on March 24, 2016, Anea Garcia resigned the title after allegations of assault while on a mission trip to South Sudan arose, in which the organization and the president Nawat Itsaragrisil of MGI did not take action nor look into.
