Awkillu Waqra

Awkillu Waqra or Awkilluwaqra (awkillu local Quechua word for apu (Andean mountain deity) or grandfather, old man, waqra horn Hispanicized spelling Auquilohuagra) is an archaeological site in Peru. It is situated in the Huánuco Region, Yarowilca Province, Obas District. The site was declared a National Cultural Heritage of Peru by Resolución Directoral No. 786/INC of the National Institute of Culture on May 25, 2006.
