Bioethics International
Bioethics International (BEI) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2006 based in New York focused on the ethics and governance of how medicines are researched, developed, marketed and made accessible to patients around the world. Bioethics International launched its Good Pharma Scorecard (GPS) in November 2009 and debuted the first set of rankings in October 2015. GPS ranks pharmaceutical companies and new medicines approved by the FDA based on their ethics and transparency performance. The results from the first scorecard were published in BMJ Open.
