Bjǫrn the Easterner

Bjǫrn Ketilsson, nicknamed the Easterner (Old Norse: austræni), was a Norwegian Viking of the 9th century, son of Ketill 'Flatnose' Bjǫrnsson and Yngvild Ketilsdottir. He emigrated to Iceland following his father Ketill's expulsion from Norway by King Harald Fairhair and the seizure of their lands in the north of Norway.
