Blue berets (Russian: Голубые береты) is a staff of the Russian Federation Ministry of Defence as part of Song and Dance Ensemble of the airborne troops of Russia. In August 1985, the ensemble "Blue berets" was born in storeroom 2nd company of the 1st Battalion of the 350th Regiment. It was founded by Sergey Isakov, Igor Ivanchenko and company foreman Oleg Gontsov. Later, in November they were joined by Sergey Yarovoy. The first concert took place in Afghanistan, in the evening 19 November 1985 in a soldier's club 350th Guards Airborne Regiment. November 19 was the day of birth of the ensemble.
