Buddleja × farquharii Farrington, ex. Rehder was an American hybrid raised by the R & J Farquhar Company, Dedham, Massachusetts circa 1916 from a crossing of B. asiatica and B. officinalis. The plant was claimed to be the first artificial hybrid within the genus.
