Chaldean Christians
Chaldeans /kælˈdiːən/ (ܟܠܕܝ̈ܐ) also known as Kaldaye and Kaldanaye, are an ethnic group whose origins lie in ancient Mesopotamia. They speak, read, and write distinct dialects of Eastern Aramaic Syriac language exclusive to Mesopotamia and its immediate surroundings. They are a recognized ethnicity according to article 125 in Iraqi constitution.
