China–Philippines relations

The China–Philippines relations (Chinese: 中菲关系; pinyin: Zhōng fēi guānxì; Filipino: Ugnayang Tsina at Pilipinas) refers to the bilateral relations between the China and the Philippines. Relations between the two countries gradually improved over the years since the initiative of Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos. However, relations between the two countries have suffered due to the worsening South China Sea dispute.
