Co-Cathedral of St. Alexander, Kiev

The Co-Cathedral of St. Alexander (Ukrainian: Cпівкафедральний собор св. Олександра ) also called Cathedral of St. Alexander of Kiev is the name given to a religious building affiliated with the Catholic Church located in the city of Kiev, the capital of the European country of Ukraine. The temple was built between 1817 and 1842 in a cruciform plan, with a dome at the intersection of the aisles in the style of classicism. The church is located on the former site of a Polish merchant and near the Independence Square.
