Diante do Trono

Diante do Trono (IPA: [djɐ̃.tɨ du tɾonu]; lit.: Before the Throne) is a Brazilian contemporary Christian music band formed in 1997 in the city of Belo Horizonte, in the Lagoinha Baptist Church. It is led by singer, songwriter and pastor Ana Paula Valadão. The group became popular in Brazil after the release of their first work, the disc Diante do Trono 1998. However, it was the albums Águas Purificadoras and Preciso de Ti that gained them international recognition, turning them into the main worship ministry in Latin America and one of the most successful in Brazilian music.
