During the nine decades since its establishment in 1919, the Communist Party USA produced or inspired a vast array of newspapers and magazines in the English language. This list was launched in 2009, based upon material said to have been "principally taken from the California Senate's report" of 1949 and the testimony of Walter S. Steele before House Committee on Un-American Activities (HUAC) in 1947.
