'Francisco Mejía-Guinand is an architect and visual artist who was born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1964. He is best known for his geometric sculptures based on Mathematics, Russian Avant-garde, Sacred Geometry and Origami principles, he works with the concept of multidimensional geometry. As a painter, he has remained dedicated to exploring the tradition of painting as an artistic medium.
