Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) (Chinese: 广东以色列理工学院) commonly shortened to Guangdong Technion is a private technological institute and research university in Shantou, Guangdong province, China, lying on the east and south of Shantou University. The Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in cooperation with Shantou University and with the financial support of the Li Ka Shing Foundation established the Guangdong Technion in 2015 with the aim to focus on research and innovation in engineering and life sciences.
