H. Upmann

H. Upmann is a brand of premium cigar, established on Cuba in 1844 and among the oldest in the cigar industry. They are made in two versions: one produced on the island of Cuba for Habanos SA, the Cuban state-owned tobacco company, and the other produced for the U.S. market (due to the Cuban embargo) in La Romana, Dominican Republic, for the Franco-Spanish tobacco monopoly Altadis SA, half owner of the Cuban state tobacco company and now part of Imperial Tobacco.
