It is one of the first Beach Boy songs that Hal Blaine drummed on instead of Dennis Wilson. In January 1964, it was released as a single in Australia, becoming a top-10 hit. This song was also sung by Al and Matt Jardine on Al Jardine's live album released in 2001. In 1978, part of this song was referenced in the Beach Boys song "Kona Coast" off the M.I.U. Album.
