Ilmajoki

Ilmajoki (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈilmɑjoki], Swedish: Ilmola [ilmolɑ]) is a municipality of Finland. It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Southern Ostrobothnia region. The population of Ilmajoki is 12,178 (31 March 2016) and the municipality covers an area of 576.79 km2 (222.70 sq mi) of which 2.90 km2 (1.12 sq mi) is inland water (1 January 2011). The population density is 21.11/km2 (54.7/sq mi). The municipality is unilingually Finnish. The Seinäjoki Airport is located in Ilmajoki. Flybe Nordic has its head office by the airport.
