Islington North (UK Parliament constituency)

Islington North /ˈɪzlɪŋtən nɔːθ/ is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 1983 by Jeremy Corbyn of the Labour Party. Corbyn has been Leader of the Labour Party and the Opposition since September 2015. If the 2016 recommendations of the Boundary Commission for England and Wales are approved by Parliament, the constituency will be abolished at the 2020 general election. At 735 hectares (1,820 acres), it is the smallest UK Parliamentary constituency.
